Saudi Arabia and Bahrain have pledged to enhance their bilateral security cooperation, as confirmed during the seventh meeting of the Security Committee Working Group under the Saudi-Bahraini Coordination Council in Riyadh. This commitment underscores the two nations’ dedication to working closely in addressing regional security issues and fostering stability.
During the meeting, Ahmed bin Sulaiman Al-Issa, Director General of Legal Affairs and International Cooperation at Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Interior, and Sheikh Hamad bin Mohammed Al Khalifa, Bahrain’s Deputy Police Chief, co-chaired the discussions. Their dialogue focused on reviewing the current security collaboration and exploring new measures to strengthen their partnership in areas of mutual interest.
The session highlighted the strong ties between Saudi Arabia and Bahrain, reflecting a shared resolve to tackle security challenges in the region. Both countries are keen on promoting stability through enhanced cooperation, which is deemed essential given the complex dynamics of the Gulf region.
