Colombian President Gustavo Petro departed Riyadh on Friday following his participation in the Future Investment Initiative. He was seen off at King Khalid International Airport by Riyadh Deputy Governor Prince Mohammed bin Abdulrahman and senior Saudi officials.
During his visit, Saudi Minister of Culture Prince Badr bin Abdullah bin Farhan and Colombian Minister of Culture Yannai Kadamani signed a bilateral agreement aimed at strengthening cultural cooperation between the two nations.
The agreement focuses on enhancing collaboration in cultural systems, regulations, and policies. It also includes joint cultural residency programs, mutual participation in festivals and events, and improved communication between cultural institutions in both countries.
