Saudi Minister of Communications and Information Technology Abdullah Alswaha held a series of high-level meetings in Switzerland to bolster the Kingdom’s international presence in artificial intelligence, innovation, and digital economic development.
In a key meeting with UN International Telecommunication Union (ITU) Secretary-General Doreen Bogdan-Martin, Alswaha highlighted Saudi Arabia’s 76-year partnership with the ITU and reaffirmed the Kingdom’s commitment to promoting inclusivity and global cooperation in the digital era.
The minister also met with Algerian Minister of Post and Telecommunications Sid Ali Zerrouki to explore opportunities for expanding collaboration in digital governance, AI development, and infrastructure modernization.
These discussions reflect Saudi Arabia’s strategic aim to position itself as a leader in shaping the future of global digital transformation.
